The ICBC Accredited Repair Network changed all of that. Under this program, certain repair shops are fully certified to perform the vehicle assessment and manage the entire ICBC claim in-house — no separate trip to a claim centre required. These shops are called Express Repair locations.

This is one of the most important things BC drivers don't know: ICBC cannot require you to use a specific repair shop. You have the legal right to choose any shop in the ICBC Accredited Repair Network.
